We were in the area doing a dog rehome but before we left needed something to eat. This was the nearest place to grab food and as it was nearly the afternoon closing time we were only expecting chips. The ladies cooked us a fresh fish fair play we asked for a large fish and chips and they certainty delivered well worth it if I am ever this way again well if I want fish and chips I know where to come.
This is a great chip shop the guy that runs it is so friendly and always happy to help. If you don't see what you want just ask and he more than happy to cook it for you. My daughter had a burger and loved it. We had a chicken wrap and its the first thing I have enjoyed in a while.
chips, perfect. bit more salt needed, but that is personal choice. prefer my batter crispy, this was not.no pun intended, but I did feel he was fishing for compliments a bit too much, but I guess he is proud of his produce, which is fair enough. I don't like being offered a forced choice question.I would go back, but I would take away rather than eat in, I would also check the batter alsobest chip shop - noroom for improvement - yesvalue for money - yesfish - cooked wellchips - cooked well
